Job Summary

OmniVue, an award-winning, gold-certified Microsoft Dynamics partner since 2003 is seeking a new Financial Controller. If you have a strong background in financial management and a strong desire to become part of a dynamic team, you may be the perfect person to fill this position.

We’re looking for an experienced financial controller to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, and development of internal control policies and procedures. Finance controller responsibilities will also include financial risk management.


  • Manage the accuracy and productivity of daily activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, payroll, fixed asset records, general & entity accounting, cost accounting, and some Human Resources
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance
  • Perform month-end and year-end close
  • Manage commercial banking relationships to facilitate an appropriate credit resource under highly competitive terms
  • Work closely with the CEO in the development and economic evaluation of various fringe benefit programs for staff and program components
  • Interface with outside audit firm(s), banks and lessors, casualty/liability insurance agent(s), credit card companies, and collection agencies
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
  • Use the utmost discretion in all presentations/correspondence and communication for staff
  • Complete additional controller duties as necessary

Supervisory Requirements:

Manages the overall direction and coordination of the Accounting/Finance department as well as some light Human Resources duties. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, directing work, rewarding, disciplining employees, undertaking performance reviews, addressing complaints, and resolving problems


To land this gig, you must have:

  • Proven working experience as a Financial Controller
  • 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
  • Advanced degree in Accounting. (CPA or CMA preferred)
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Job cost experience
  • Experience with creating financial statements
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
  • Experience handling recurring revenue model
  • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
  • Experience in Solomon required
